Discover the magic of creating one-of-a-kind prints in this hands-on monotype workshop, instructed by Genna Riggi of Artlighten LLC! Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this session will introduce you to the expressive and spontaneous world of monotype printing — a technique celebrated for its rich textures and painterly qualities.
Over the course of three hours, you’ll:
Learn the basics of monotype tools, inks, and printing surfaces.
Explore inking, mark-making, and layering techniques.
Experiment with both additive and subtractive processes to create dynamic imagery.
Produce and take home several original prints, each entirely unique.
No prior printmaking experience is required — just bring your curiosity and creativity. All materials are provided. You’ll leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a small collection of prints to treasure or gift.
All supplies will be provided.
